The company CHR. BOZNOS & SON S.A. was founded in 1948 in Piraeus, as a sole proprietorship, by Christos Boznos.
In 1951, his son Georgios Boznos joined the company and on his own initiative the company began, first in the Greek market, the import of drive transmissions, including a new product for the time, which he called ELECTROMEDUATOR.
In 1953, the company became a joint venture and due to its rapid development within a few years it established itself as a pioneer in drive transmissions and among the first in lifting machinery, marine engines and industrial plastics, acquiring in 1964 its current legal form and name CHR. BOZNOS & SON S.A.
Today the company is managed by the fourth generation and has focused its activity on drive transmissions, industrial automation and lifting equipment. It represents some of the largest manufacturers worldwide in these sectors, such as SEW – EURODRIVE, VOITH TURBO, WARNER, KTR, CMCO (YALE) etc.
CHR. BOZNOS & SON S.A. is based in Piraeus and has a branch in Thessaloniki and a subsidiary in Skopje. Since 2000 the company has received an ISO 9001 quality certificate.

In its effort to continuously improve its services to its customers, the company CHR. BOZNOS & SON S.A. has a comprehensive repair department for the electric gearmotors, winches and inverters it imports.
In its 75 years of operation, the company has invested and continues to invest in the training of its staff, who are constantly informed and trained to provide its customers with immediate and effective service.
