PRODUCT RETURNS

CHR. BOZNOS & SON SA markets its products in its online store trying to describe them as accurately as possible so that the user can choose what he wants easily and quickly through his computer. However, as errors occur, the following are the terms and conditions for returning defective or non-defective products:

ERRONEOUS DELIVERY OF PRODUCT:

If you receive an item that is not what you ordered or some items are missing from your order, after contacting us and having the problem settled in writing, you may return the order or product for inspection and error verification. In this case, the return and shipping costs for the correct order are borne by our company as long as the return method we propose to you has been complied with.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT:

If you receive a defective product, provided this is confirmed by our technical staff, then the warranty and operating conditions that you can find here (link to the warranty terms) apply below; in summary:
- The warranty is for a limited period of time indicated on the product specification. After the end of this period, the repair or replacement of the products is possible at an additional charge upon new agreement with the customer.
- The product to be replaced should be returned along with all the documents that came with the product (eg. dispatch note, receipt, etc.) and its complete packaging.
- The products will be returned either by courier, transport agency or by delivery to the company's store in Piraeus. In cases of return by courier, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost to the company and the company is responsible for the shipping cost of the replaced or repaired product.
- After the return of the products, the defect reported by the customer is checked and then the company communicates with him to inform him about the results of the inspection.
- If the defect is found, the product is repaired or replaced, otherwise the transaction can be cancelled if the product cannot be repaired within a reasonable time and no other product of equivalent or better specifications or equivalent value can be found by the company for the replacement. In the event of cancellation of the transaction, the money for the original purchase is refunded in the same manner as the initial payment made by the customer to the company.
- In particular, in the event of a credit card debit, the company will be obliged to inform the issuing bank on the cancellation of the transaction and the bank will subsequently take any action provided for under the contract concluded with the client without the company bearing any further responsibility. Upon providing of this information, the Company bears no responsibility for the timing and manner of carrying out the reversal. In the case of cash payment, if the customer had chosen the option "collection from the store ", the money will be refunded to him from the company's store in Piraeus. In the event of a wire transfer payment, a reverse bank transfer will be made from the company's accounts to the customer.
- In case the products are returned damaged or defective, the online shop has the right to claim compensation from the customer, the amount of which will be determined by the status of the products and to make a full or partial settlement of his claim unilaterally and without any further notice against the customer.

NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCT:

The customer has the right to return a product within 15 calendar days of delivery. The return is subject to the following conditions:
- This return is without grounds and is made free of charge and if the item has already been delivered, the customer must return the product exactly in the condition it received it, along with all of its accessories, the forms accompanying it and its packaging in excellent condition. The return of the item is accepted only if the buyer has first paid all the fees charged by the company for shipping the item and the shipping costs to return it.
- The return must be notified in writing or electronically and the company is required to send confirmation of acceptance of the return as soon as it is received.
- Upon return of the product and if the item is in excellent condition, the company is obliged to repay the price received within 15 days of receipt of the product.
- Shipping costs are not refundable if the customer had chosen a delivery method other than the standard delivery method provided for by the company.
- In particular, in the event of a credit card debit, the company will be obliged to inform the issuing bank on the cancellation of the transaction and the bank will subsequently take any action provided for under the contract concluded with the client without the company bearing any further responsibility. - The customer is liable towards the company if he has made a use other than what is necessary to ascertain the nature, specifications and operation of the goods during the period leading up to the return decision. The determination of the nature, specifications and functioning of the goods should be ascertained on the basis of the information provided on the outer packaging of each product, as well as the additional information provided by the company, without opening the product packaging and putting it in operating. The company is willing to answer to the customer any questions about the nature and operation of the products by providing additional information material, electronically or otherwise. If the product is opened or put into service, its value is automatically reduced as the product is classified as used and the customer is obliged to compensate the company for the decrease in the value of the product. The decrease in value from the opening of the packaging and consequently the classification of the product as used is considered on a case-by-case basis and is determined by the company; usually it is in the range of 20% - 30%. The company is entitled to agree with the customer on its compensation even with mutual offsetting.
- In case the products are returned damaged or defective, the online shop has the right to claim compensation from the customer, the amount of which will be determined by the status of the products and to make a full or partial settlement of his claim unilaterally and without any further notice against the customer.

Exemptions from product returns
Products custom made in accordance with consumer specifications cannot be returned.

Return procedure

  1. You can bring the goods to the company, at 12 K. Mavromichali Street, PC: 18545, Piraeus and, after a qualified employee has verified the status of the product, you will receive further instructions.
  2. If you have received the goods with the ACS service, you can do the following:

    1. Pack the product in a larger box to protect it during shipment.
    2. Put in the package that you have made a document in which you inform us on the way you wish to resolve the financial matter, if the product is deemed eligible for return.
    3. Send the parcel through the courier company from which you received your order, to the Returns Department. Please note that return costs are charged to the customer.
    We would like to point out that in the event that the product does not meet the above conditions, it will be returned to its sender at his own expense.
